A new project allows fans of Jeff Buckley the chance to thumb through his record collection, checking out titles from Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Nina Simone and others. The site, overseen by Buckley’s mother Mary Guibert, went live today.
The Jeff Buckley Record Collection allows fans to play and share any song from any album in Jeff's personal collection via 30 second previews or access to Spotify for full song playback. On the site, fans can navigate through Buckley’s record collection by using arrows and the alphabet. Hovering over album spines reveal album information and the ability to stream music.
The project is connected with Sony’s Legacy Recordings release of Buckley’s first studio recordings, You and I, from 1993.
