WCM INKS SCISSOR SISTERS CATALOG
11/17/22

Warner Chappell Music has signed the catalog of Scissor Sisters. The deal includes the band's two U.K. #1 albums, their self-titled Polydor debut and the 2006 follow-up, Ta-Dah.

The band have appointed Fascination Management as their legacy managers, whose owner Peter Loraine, worked with them at Polydor.

“Scissor Sisters are such an iconic name in dance and pop culture and their early songs still sound as fresh and innovative as they did when they first came out,” WCM U.K. Creative Manager Emily Foreman. “I’m looking forward to finding ways to connect their songs with new audiences.”

Scissor Sisters have sold more than 7m albums worldwide, with almost 3m sales in the U.K. alone. The three-time BRIT Award winners had nine U.K. Top 20 hits.

“Their catalog of music and visuals is first class and has so much potential,” Loraine said. “To be reunited professionally is a dream come true.”
