Sony Music Publishing U.K. has named Shauni Caballero, who has signed acts including Central Cee and Russ Millions to the publisher, as senior A&R manager.
Based in the pubco’s London office, Caballero is responsible for supporting and developing SMP songwriters, advancing collaboration efforts and delivering new opportunities across the global roster.
David Ventura, SMP U.K. president, co-MD and SVP of International, called Caballero “one of the most talented A&R's in the industry.”
“Her journey has been exemplary and inspiring, whilst her drive is unstoppable,” he said. “She has such an intuitive and genuine way of working with artists and songwriters, we feel blessed to have her joining the team.”
After working at PRS for Music and Universal Music, Caballero founded The Go 2 Agency—a music publishing, neighboring rights and consultancy company—in 2017. Since then, she’s worked with Dig Dat, Kwenface, Switch OTR and Rimzee.
