JESS GLYNNE JOINS EMI
11/10/22

EMI captains Rebecca Allen, left, and Jo Charrington, right, have signed Jess Glynne.

Jess Glynne, one of the most successful female acts in the U.K., has signed with EMI following her departure from Atlantic, Music Week reports. New music is expected to land next year.

EMI co-Presidents Rebecca Allen and Jo Charrington called Glynne "a rarity amongst artists, a multi award winning singer-songwriter, whose voice has defined a generation."

Allen and Charrington noted that Glynne sang on U.K. #1 "My Love" by Route 94, which EMI released in 2014. "To come full circle and have Jess back within the label is just brilliant,” they said.

Glynne’s chart success includes two #1 albums and seven #1 singles; she has won a Grammy and three Ivor Novellos. She split from Atlantic earlier this year and has since joined Roc Nation for management with UTA looking after her live career.
