BST HYDE PARK SETS RECORDS
7/11/22

Build it and they will come. The Brits might not get the baseball reference from Field of Dreams, but they certainly understand the sentiment as the biggest BST Hyde Park festival ever sold more than half a million tickets.

AEG Presents’ BST Hyde Park—nine shows over three weekend featuring Adele, Eagles, the Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam and others—sold 530k tickets while another 170k people attended BST Open House, the free to access program of events between the weekends. It was the first BST Hyde Park since 2019.

“Like everyone in the festival business and across live music we are so happy to be back doing what we love and seeing music fans experiencing these great shows,” AEG European Festivals CEO Jim King said. “The calibre of artists we have had in Hyde Park was incredible with so many outstanding performances. The demand for tickets was huge and we are very proud to have sold out the series.”

Next year’s shows—the 10th anniversary of the festival—are already being planned.
