U.K. CHARTS: REX, DAVE RULE

Rex Orange County has scored his first U.K. Official Albums #1 with Who Cares? (Columbia) while Dave secures the biggest audio streams week of the year at singles.

Who Cares?, Rex Orange County’s fourth album, beats the #5 peak his previous release, 2019’s Pony.

IMPERA (Loma Vista), from Swedish heavy-metal group Ghost, is new at #2 today, followed by Bryan AdamsSo Happy It Hurts (BMG) at #3. The Shires10 Year Plan (BMG) enters at #5, while Lil Durk’s 7220 (Alamo) scores him his highest peak in the U.K. to date at #6.

Franz Ferdinand’s greatest-hits collection, Hits to the Head (Domino), is new at #7, followed by Ella Henderson’s Everything I Didn’t Say (Asylum) at #8.

Liverpool's The Mysterines score a Top 10 debut at #9 with Reeling (Universal).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Dave’s “Starlight” (NBR) remains at #1 for a second week after receiving the biggest week of audio streams of the year, 6.5m.

Aitch has today’s highest new entry at #2 with “Baby” (Capitol), which samples Ashanti’s ’00s hit “Rock Wit U.” Jax Jones and MNEK’s “Where Did You Go” (Polydor) is on the rise again, jumping three places to #7.
