The U.K.'s Royal Mail is honoring The Rolling Stones in the form of 12 stamps to celebrate their 60th anniversary in 2022.
Eight of the stamps will feature images of Rolling Stones performances, spanning sets from London’s Hyde Park in 1969 to Düsseldorf, Germany in 2017. Another four stamps feature two shots of the band and two of their vintage worldwide tour posters.
Rolling Stones are only the fourth group to feature in a dedicated stamp issue following The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016 and Queen in 2020.
Universal Music Group’s brand management and lifestyle division Bravado was the driving force behind the collaboration. Stamps can be pre-ordered via the Royal Mail website beginning today and will go on general sale 1/20.
