UTA EXPANDS IN LONDON
9/27/21

UTA has bolstered its London-based team with the hiring of Rebecca Prochnik as Director of Creative Strategy, U.K. Music. She brings a host of acts from Earth Agency, which she founded in 2014.

At Earth Agency, Prochnik represented some of the most successful British independent acts of recent years, including Skepta, AJ Tracey, Deerhunter, Black Lips, MHD and Ghetts, all of whom will be joining her at UTA, among others.

“Rebecca has an unparalleled reputation for helping independent talent break into the mainstream music landscape, and she has demonstrated exceptional creativity and entrepreneurship throughout her career,” said Obi Asika, co-Head of WME’s U.K. office.

Prochnik joins a growing team that includes recent hire Asika, who joined UTA when it acquired his Echo Location Talent Agency, bringing artists including Diplo, Major Lazer, Marshmello, Alesso and Wizkid into the fold. Two more team members have recently joined the London office: music agent Carlos Abreu and Music Brands Partnerships exec Cleo Thompson.
