ATLANTIC'S TRUST IN IRELAND
6/29/21

Trust It Entertainment CEO Solomon Adesiyan, center, has joined forces with Atlantic U.K. EVP Austin Daboh, left, and Rich Castillo, A&R Director at Atlantic Records U.K.

Warner Music U.K.’s Atlantic Records has signed a JV with Ireland-based Trust It Entertainment, which reps local rap, hip-hop and drill artists. As part of the deal, Trust It CEO Solomon Adesiyan has taken on an A&R and culture consultancy role at Atlantic.

Atlantic will work with Adesiyan and the team at Warner Music Ireland to sign and develop artists as well as provide marketing support. Together they will also develop strategies aimed at growing the local Black music market.

“We’ve known Solomon for a couple of years now, and he really is the linchpin that’s helping drive the Irish Black music scene forward to new heights,” Atlantic U.K. EVP Austin Daboh said. “We’re looking forward to working with [him and his team] to help develop and champion the extraordinary artists that are flourishing in the region and introducing them to a global audience.”

Adesiyan founded Trust It Entertainment in 2016 and has worked with A92, Andre Fazaz, Offica, AV9, Alicia Raye, BoyW1DR, Chuks, Evans Junior and J.B2. The label’s team also includes Shekinah Adewumi as Strategic Partner and co-Director, and Head of A&R, Joel Safo.
