Respected British agent Natasha Bent is leaving Paradigm to launch her own independent management and agency outfit, according to IQ, which will be run with her brother and artist manager, Mark Bent.
During her four years at Paradigm, Bent has worked with Idles, Chvrches, First Aid Kit, Cage the Elephant, Kacey Musgraves and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Mark Bent runs Mother Artist Management, which looks after Idles, plus Bristol band Heavy Lungs and Scotland band Avaera.
“Regretfully, we are announcing that Natasha Bent has resigned from Paradigm after four years of service to form an independent management company with her brother,” Paradigm’s Tom Schroeder said. “We wish her the best of luck in her new venture.”
Prior to Paradigm, Bent spent eight years at The Agency Group after heading up her own company, The Village Agency. IQ reports that Bent is the first U.K. agent to exit Paradigm and go independent during the coronavirus pandemic, following a number of agents who've done the same in the states.
