30 INDIE VENUES STILL IN CRISIS
11/11/20

Thirty grassroots venues across the U.K. are still at risk of permanent closure due to being ineligible for Government funding. A new campaign launched by the Music Venues Trust aims to raise £1.75m to save their futures.

Titled #savethe30, the campaign highlights venues that are at imminent danger of permanent closure. They include London venues The Waiting Room, The Lexington, and Windmill Brixton, and a host of spaces across the country.

MVT is urging everyone who cares about these venues to write to their local MP, council and local charities to demand action to prevent them being closed for good.
