U.K. MIDWEEKS: LIAM IN THE LEAD
6/15/20

Liam Gallagher is heading to #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with his live album, MTV Unplugged (Warner Records). Over on singles, 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj have the highest new entry at #5 with “Trollz” (Create Music Group).

Gallagher is outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined at the halfway point. The album, recorded at Hull City Hall, will mark his third solo #1 should it hold onto its position until Friday.

Former BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Jack Garratt is aiming for his second Top 3 album with Love Death & Dancing (Island) at #3, while Manic Street Preachers’ second album, 1993’s Gold Against the Soul (Columbia), could reach a new peak of #5 following its reissue.

Thin Lizzy greatest hits The Essential (Spectrum) starts at #8, and Kodaline are currently at #11 with their fourth studio album, One Day at a Time (B-Unique).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, 6ix9ine is on track to land a second U.K. Top 10 hit in one month with “Trollz,” while Minaj is set for her 13th.
