U.K. MIDWEEKS: A TASTE OF CINNAMON
4/20/20

The Bonny (Little Runaway) from Scottish singer/songwriter Gerry Cinnamon is sitting at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums midweek chart while, charity release “You’ll Never Walk Alone" (Decca Records) starts on top at singles.

The Bonny has a lead of 13,000 combined chart sales ahead of Enter Shikari’s Nothing is True & Everything is Possible (So Recordings) at #2.

Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien is the third new entry in today’s albums Top 5 with his debut solo record as EOB, Earth (Polydor), at #5. DaBaby is on track for his first U.K. Top 10 with Blame It On Baby (Interscope) at #6.

The 1983 debut album from Marillion, Script For A Jester’s Tear (Parlophone), peaked at #7 and a new reissue could see the album return to the very same slot.

After just missing out on the Top 40 last week, Finnish metal band Nightwish could also claim their first U.K. Top 10 at #8 with Human II Nature (Nuclear Blast) following its CD release.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Michael Ball, 98-year-old war veteran Captain Tom and The NHS Voices of Care Choir has shifted 36k sales so far (predominantly downloads).
