Mancunian indie pop band Blossoms are on track to land their second #1 on the Official Albums Chart. The debut from former 1D member Louis Tomlinson is right behind them.
The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” (XO/Republic) is on course to claim #1 on the Official Singles Chart. His previous best was #2, which “Starboy” hit in 2016.
Blossoms' third album, Foolish Loving Spaces (EMI), is outpacing Tomlinson's Walls (SYCO), by 8,000 chart sales. Foolish Loving Spaces is tops in CD and vinyl sales.
Blossoms’ self-titled debut topped the Official Albums Chart in August 2016, while follow-up Cool Like You peaked at #4 in May 2018. Last week’s chart-topper, Big Conspiracy by J Hus, has dropped to #5.
