WME has grown its U.K. music division with the addition of respected A&R exec Caroline SM as agent. She was most recently A&R Manager for XL Recordings, and started her career as Editor of urban music site and channel, GRM Daily.
At XL, Caroline brought her critically acclaimed multi-artist rap album New Gen to life and signed underground British rapper Nines. His debut and sophomore albums both charted in the Top 5 with more than 100k sales. She also played part in the early management of J Hus.
“Caroline is going to be a brilliant addition to WME,” said Brian Ahern, partner and co-head of WME’s London music division, and Lucy Dickins, Head of UK Music, WME. “She’s completely immersed in the music she loves and what she has achieved so early in her career is really impressive. Her joining will further strengthen and grow the U.K. team as we kick off 2020.”
