YMU Group has appointed Anna Gregorek to lead a new brand partnerships division in London as Commercial Director. She joins the management company after five years at Warner Music Group, where she worked on campaigns for Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, Gorillaz and Rudimental amongst others, and with brands Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Xbox.
She reports directly to Iain Watt, who was brought on as Managing Director of YMU’s U.K. music division after the acquisition of his Machine Management last year.
In her new role, Gregorek will be responsible for all commercial opportunities across the YMU Music roster, which includes Years & Years, Clean Bandit, Take That, Steve Aoki, Mika, Friendly Fires and JNR Williams. She is tasked with developing long-term strategic plans for all artists, with a focus on brand partnerships, licensed ranges, ambassador campaigns, corporate events and merchandise.
“Anna’s appointment is key to delivering stronger brand and commercial opportunities and a better depth of service for our clients,” Watt said. She will be a key part of our senior management team helping us grow the commercial team and the business as a whole.”
