WARNER ADDS TO DIVERSITY TEAM
3/26/19

Warner Music U.K. has hired Nina Bhagwat from Channel 4’s diversity team in the newly created role of Head of Inclusion & Diversity. In her new role, she’s tasked with developing the label’s inclusion and diversity strategy, and driving attraction, progression, and engagement of talent from under-represented groups.

At Channel 4, Bhagwat was most recently Off-Screen Diversity Executive, where she was instrumental in devising and delivering key Diversity Charter initiatives. Prior to that, she headed up the short course unit at the National Film and Television School and has more than 10 years' experience in TV production.

At Warner Music U.K., Bhagwat reports directly to Masha Osherova, EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, WMG, and Mel Fox, Chief Transformation Officer WMUK, EVP of Transformation for Recorded Music.

“It’s vital our company reflects the diverse world we live in, and that means ensuring this is an environment where people with different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and ideas feel valued, supported and championed,” Fox said. “The creation of this important new role underscores our commitment to that promise and strengthens our ability to deliver on it.”
