There’s a new radio promotions company in the U.K., as pluggers Gregory Wells and Becky Richardson merge their respective agencies, Plug Life and Paisley London, to create Ghost. Separately, the duo have worked on campaigns for artists including Laura Marling, Childish Gambino and Hozier.

Wells began his career at independent promotions company, Peer Group, before heading up the radio department at leading independent label, Domino Records

After three years at Domino overseeing campaigns for Hot Chip, Jon Hopkins and Wild Beasts, Wells set up Plug Life and now represents artists including Four Tet, Laura Marling, Neneh Cherry, Floating Points, Cigarettes After Sex and DJ Koze

Richardson was at Island Records for four years where she worked on campaigns for Hozier, Childish Gambino, PJ Harvey and The Weeknd. Since launching two years ago, Paisley London has overseen national, specialist and community radio campaigns for a roster including Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Dave, AlunaGeorgeBruno Major and 2016 Sound Of winner Ray BLK

Said Richardson of the new company: "Teaming up with Greg  was a no-brainer. Our major and independent label experiences complement each other perfectly and our combined rosters present a pretty formidable line-up. I’m really looking forward to what we can achieve together with Ghost.”

Wells added: "From the minute I met Becky I knew I wanted to work with her. Her drive for results and infectious personality have made her one of the best pluggers out there.
