George Ezra is in the driver’s seat to dethrone The Greatest Showman from #1 on the Official Albums Chart, while Drake’s chart-topping run at singles is in jeopardy as well.

Ezra’s second studio album, Staying at Tamara’s (Columbia), has the lead at midweek in physical and download sales, outpacing Greatest Showman by more than 2:1. Tamara’s has sales of 37k since its release on Friday. His debut, Wanted on Voyage, reached #1 in 2014 three months after debuting at #3.

Over at singles, a midweek logjam in the Top 3 has Rudimental f/Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen’sThese Days” (Asylum) at #1 with George Ezra’s “Paradise” and Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” (Atlantic) less than 2,500 sales behind. Drake’s “God’s Plan” (Island) has dropped out of the Top 10 at midweek.
