British streaming expert and Warner Music’s former playlist strategist, Kieron Donoghue, has launched the independent record label Humble Angel Records.
Naturally, the label is focusing on releasing music in the streaming world and aims to offer “a better deal for artists” through increased royalty rates, transparency and data.
Humble Angel promises a standard contract that’s “at least double the average of what the major labels are offering in terms of royalty rates” with artists getting paid monthly.
