CHANGES AT BIG MACHINE U.K.?
12/13/16

After setting up Big Machine in the U.K., Director, International Chris Koegen is rumoured to have left the label for a new opportunity in music next year. Who will take the reins? And where’s Koegen heading?

Koegen has overseen U.K. and international operations for the U.S. label since October 2014 and was housed at the home of Big Machine’s exclusive distribution partner, UMG U.K., alongside Label Manager Alexandra Hannaby and Label Coordinator Amy Maunder-Taylor. Artists he's worked with include Thomas Rhett (a BBC Radio 2 favourite), The Cadillac Three and Maddie & Tae.

Prior to Big Machine, Koegen spent more than six years at Amazon after stints at MediaNet Digital and Interscope Records in L.A. Has another major poached him to help capitalise on the growing presence of country music in Blighty? Or is he heading back to tech? Stay tuned.
