COMMUNION'S 10TH BIRTHDAY BASH
9/2/16

No, James Bay and Nathaniel Rateliff have not formed a band called Men With Hats. They were too busy celebrating Communion Records’ 10 year anniversary at London’s House of Vans on a bill with Mumford & Sons and Bears Den. Bay, Rateliff and his band The Night Sweats rocked out to the soul classic “In the Midnight Hour”; the grand finale was the whole lot of them belting out The Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends.” The hat thing gave us an idea, and for our 30th anniversary we’ve ordered dunce caps for the entire staff.
