ANOTHER WARNER U.K. PROMOTION: ANDY PREVEZER
7/5/16

Max Lousada’s Warner Music U.K. has promoted veteran press man Andy Prevezer to SVP of Press Strategy—a role he’ll continue alongside his previous title of VP Press for both the Warner Bros. and Parlophone U.K. labels.

Reporting into Parlophone President Miles Leonard and Phil Christie, who also recently received a promotion to President of Warner Bros. U.K., Prevezer will continue being responsible for overseeing consumer PR for the two labels. He will also support press plans for East West and Rhino artists as well as ADA clients.

Said Leonard: “Andy is one of the industry's great publicists. He has great relationships built over decades, with a keen sense of how media is constantly evolving. He's a huge asset, and I couldn't be more pleased his contribution to our artists and our labels is being recognised with this promotion."

Christie added: "Andy's quite simply in a league of his own. He brings as much energy, skill and experience to developing the profile of new, unknown acts as he does a global megastar and that's what makes this such a well-deserved promotion. I'm absolutely delighted for him."

Prevezer began his career at Warner in the late ‘80s, before moving on to Universal/A&M as Press Director, then Polydor as Artist Development Director. He set up his own PR agency in 2000 and in 2002 he re-joined Warner Bros. as Press Director before being promoted to VP Press, Warner Bros & Parlophone in 2012.
