U.K. MIDWEEK CHARTS: DRAKE ON COURSE FOR A DOUBLE #1
5/3/16

After topping the U.K. Official Singles Chart for the last three weeks with “One Dance” (Island), Drake is on course for a double whammy on Friday as Views leads the midweek tally. Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s “This is What You Came For” (Columbia) is, as expected, the hottest new single.

“One Dance” claimed the highest number of streams of a single in a week ever on Friday with 7.86m - beating Adele’s record of 7.32m with “Hello” (XL). Drake's track has notched up 64k combined chart sales since Friday, ahead of Harris and Ri Ri’s second collaboration.

Views—an iTunes and Apple Music exclusive—is currently outselling last week’s Official Albums #1, Beyoncé’s Lemonade (RCA)—a Tidal and iTunes exclusive—by two copies to one. Can Drake beat Bey's week one combined chart tally of 73k? Look out for the news on Friday.
