UMG’S DOUBLE BAFTA WIN
2/15/16

Photo: Greg Williams

The heartbreaking Amy Winehouse documentary Amy rightfully won Best Documentary at Sunday night’s British Academy Awards. Congratulations go to director Asif Kapadia, producer James Gay-Rees (both pictured) and Universal U.K. chief David Joseph, who holds an executive producer credit and is the man that approached Kapadia with the idea.

Decca composer Ennio Morricone’s score for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight was another coup for UMG, taking home best Original Music in 2016. The full list winners can be found here.
