After Midtown (Independent)
5/12/22

WHAT IT IS: After Midtown’s Adam Ernst and Michael Rotundo realized their duo potential after months gigging together as solo artists. Hailing from small towns and relating to the rural storytelling traditions of country music, After Midtown pairs Adam’s recording experience and multi-instrumentalist background with Michael’s gritty and percussive vocals to create something that not only defies genre but speaks for itself through energetic live shows. With their diverse influences and distinctive lyrics, the pair dropped their 2021 debut EP, Don’t Give Away the Ending, which featured a cut from HARDY, a collaboration with Colbie Caillat and their self-written debut single, “Boys Like Us.” Their latest offering, “Get Right,” written by HARDY, Corey Crowder, Jake Owen, Jordan Schmidt and Rodney Clawson, cements them as Country music’s latest up-and-comers.
