WHAT IT IS: Atlanta-born Baby Tate, formerly known as Yung Baby Tate, quickly established herself as a hip-hop artist to watch thanks to her 2019 debut album, GIRLS. Not long afterward, she appeared on the Grammy-nominated Dreamville compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III and made a cameo appearance in Ashnikko’s “STUPID.” By late 2020, Baby Tate dropped her After the Rain EP, which featured fellow Atlantan6LACK on “Let it Rain” and Alabama rapper Flo Milli on the viral hit “I Am.” In addition to landing her single “Dungarees” on Halle Berry’s Bruised soundtrack, Baby Tate was recently featured on JID’s “Surround Sound” with 21 Savage. On her dual release of Mani/Pedi in June, Tate will showcase her skills as an MC and singer.
