WHAT IT IS: L.A.-based rapper Buddy has been an integral part of the rap scene for years, and his long-awaited sophomore album, Superghetto, boasts features from Blxst, Ari Lennox, Tinashe and T-Pain. The new set follows up 2018’s Harlan & Alondra and its 2020 deluxe reissue. Superghetto’s first single, “Wait Too Long” f/Blxst, is a West Coast anthem that strikingly exemplifies what Buddy has to offer.
