WHAT IT IS: Following his 2018 debut album, Things That We Drink To—which debuted Top 10 on the Top Country Albums chart—Nashville-based Australia native Morgan Evans earned a Country-radio #1 hit with his now-gold-certified debut single, “Kiss Somebody,” as well as a #1 on the all-genre Australia chart with “Day Drunk,” which spent 25 weeks at the top. Since then, the rising country star’s accolades have included CMA’s Global Artist of the Year, an ARIA for Country Album of the Year in 2019 and a 2020 CRS New Face of Country Music.
