RCA's Grammy-winning a cappella ensemble Pentatonix has released their latest arrangement of Tears for Fears' classic 1983 single, “Mad World.” The track arrives alongside an emotive music video that features the quintet against a black backdrop with their own reflective images behind them.
The new rendition follows the band’s recent At Home EP as well as their latest original single “Happy Now,” which was their first original music since 2015’s self-titled originals album. Amassing 1.7m+ streams to date, the track was produced by Johan Carlsson, Sean Myer and Ojivolta with co-production by PTX and Ben Bram.
Keep an eye out for more new music from PTX later this year. In the meantime, stream “Mad World” here and check out the music video below.
