ARISTA DANCING WITH KENZIE
7/11/19

David Massey’s Arista Records has signed kenzie, aka Mackenzie Ziegler, today (7/11). The announcement comes at the foot of the PRETTYMUCH FOMO TOUR, which kicks off tonight at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factor in Irving, TX with kenzie as the opening act. The singer is also set to release her new track “HOT,” on 7/17 and headline several dates in the UK and Poland following her support on the PRETTY MUCH tour.

The 15-year-old first appeared on Dance Moms, which also launched the career of her older sister, Maddie Ziegler, known for her frequent Sia collaborations. Since the drop of her debut album Mack Z in 2014, kenzie has since built quite a social media following, approaching 13m Instagram followers. Her sophomore album Phases followed up four years later and featured songs written by Sia. Most recently, her EDM collaboration with Johnny Orlando, “What If,” has garnered over 21m Spotify streams to date.

“We are so excited to welcome kenzie to the Arista family. We are looking forward to a very bright future together,” said Massey. kenzie adds, “I’m so excited for this new adventure with Arista Records and David Massey, I can’t wait to celebrate on the road with my fans and for them to hear new music coming out very soon!” kenzie joins a roster that includes One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, Charlie Puth’s younger brother Stephen Puth, Dennis Lloyd, and most recent addition Greyson Chance, among others.
