THE HOLLOW MEN HAVE SPOKEN
9/23/18

Swedish singer-songwriter Dennis Sjöström, known as The Hollow Men, recently dropped his newest single, “Speak,” under alexrainbirdRecords— an independent label acquired by Universal Music Group.

Influenced by artists such as Passenger and Ben Howard, “Speak” touches on his trademark themes of heartbreak and nostalgia. And the single kickstarts his transition from acoustic to pop music.

Due to the effect they have on YouTube and Spotify, the team at AlexrainbirdRecords is able to support the single via their established network. Honcho Alex Rainbird mentions that, "The single surpassed 20k Spotify streams in just over two weeks and hit 10k+ streams on YouTube within a week.” With 470k+ YouTube subscribers, it’s no wonder why the single is off to a solid start.

The Hollow Men is on track to release a new single in November, with more to come in 2019.
