UMPG is celebrating the global #1 Island album by writer Shawn Mendes, who has also racked up platinum-plus sales on single “Treat You Better,” a sold-out Madison Square Garden show and other laurels. Mendes, seen in the pic above with the pubco’s EVP/Head of A&R West Coast, David Gray, who signed him, collaborated with fellow Uni writers Tobias Jesso Jr., Ido Zmishlany and Kid Harpoon, among other gifted tunesmiths, on the set.
