To the amazement of President Hensley, I have somehow managed to escape being affected by the flood waters that are all around me here in what I now fondly call “Weezy Anna.” Try to breathe when it is 100 degrees and raining for 10 days straight. The flooding is unreal and all joking aside I feel very blessed that my house is dry. Can I go back to the beach now?

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper are still reigning high at the top of the chart with Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” (Monkey Puzzle) for another week and have pushed Britney Spears f/G-Eazy’s “Make Me” up inside the Top 20. 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Girls Talk Boys” is bubbling just under and about to chart.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan have Calvin Harris in that #2 slot on the chart with “This Is What You Came For” f/Rihanna (Westbury Road) and looking for the opportunity to make that jump up. Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” (XL) is now #7 and climbing based on the Mediabase Consolidated Research findings that show the strength of this song with women. The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’s “Closer” (Disruptor) is now Top 20 and was the Greatest Gainer on the chart again this week. Impacting this week is Frenship f/Emily Warren’s “Capsize” which already has great majors like WXKS, WPOW, B96 and KEGY on board.

Mom & Pop’s David Jacobs is thisclose to putting Flume f/Kai’s “Never Be Like You” in the Top 10 … It should happen soon as the Power rotations on this one keep coming in, this week from KALV, WFLC, XHTZ and WLDI. The track is just two stations from closing the panel. Don’t make me call them out!

Republic’s CW, Spangler & Russell are impacting Nick Jonas f/ Ty Dolla $ign’s “Bacon” (Island) this week, I mean who doesn’t like bacon? Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” is now #8 and has 180+ stations on board. Ariana Grande’s “Into You” will join the Top 10 this week; have you seen the Fallon “SnapChat” duet yet? It is awesome. Check it out. Drake f/Rihanna’s “Too Good” (CMYMB) is now Top 15; new this week are WWMX, KRBE, WKST and KKHH. Hailee Steinfeld & Grey f/Zedd’s “Starving” climbs up to Top 25 and pulls in Z100, WNKS and KZHT. After just four weeks Kungs & Cookin on 3Burners’ “This Girl” (Casablanca) is set to join the Top 20—with nine weeks at #1 on the Global Shazam chart and 143m streams to date on Spotify, radio cant deny this one. Marc E. Bassy’s “You and Me” has charted and pulled in WBMP, WKSC and WDZH, there are Top 5 Shazam numbers in several major markets.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothchild & Farag are truly having a great summer. Major Lazer f/Justin Bieber & MO’s “Cold Water” (Mad Decent) is already in the Top 10 after four short weeks and shows no signs of slowing down—it was up over 2,000 spins this week and continues to rake in the rotation increases. Rihanna’s “Needed Me” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) moves up to #16 this week and has all but closed out the panel; the track is #1 on the Spotify US Top 50 chart. Alessia Cara’s “Scars (To Your Beautiful)” has 100 stations on board and charted this week. Nathan Sykes’ “Give It Up” (Global Music) is looking to chart with 50+ stations on board.

Epic’s Team Glassman keeps pulling in the spin increases on Fifth Harmony’s “All In My Head (Flex)” (SYCO) and the single just went gold. DJ Khaled f/Drake’s “For Free” (We The Best) has moved up inside the Top 30 and there are 160+ stations on board. In case you haven’t added this guy to your SnapChat, he is hilarious! Impacting 8/29 is Meghan Trainor f/Yo Gotti’s “Better” and the majors are already stacking up nicely.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih pulled in WXKS, KQMV, WAKS and WNOW on Lukas Graham’s “Mama Said” last week and it is now Top 25. Tinie Tempah f/Zara Larsson’s “Girls Like” (Disturbing London) has charted and pulled in KHKS, KLIF, WIOQ and KKRZ last week.

Capitol’s Rainey, Youngblood & Siciliano have Katy Perry’s “Rise” on the rise as the track moves up inside the Top 25 this week with 170+ stations; this one should be Top 20 soon. Troye Sivan f/Alessia Cara’s “Wild” is set to make the Top 30 jump this week with new airplay from KIIS, WZEE and KHKS. Impacting 8/29 is Jon Bellion’s “All Time Low.”

MUSIC WE LOVE: Mike Perry f/Shy Martin, “The Ocean” (DF/Sony Music); DJ Khaled f/Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown & friends, “Do You Mind” (We The Best/Epic)
