A FISTFUL OF COACHES: Saddle up, partner, 'cause Voice veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are facing off with newcomers Pharrell and Gwen Stefani in a spaghetti western-style teaser video to introduce the show's seventh season, which premieres Monday 9/22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. In keeping with the Sergio Leone format, their voices will be dubbed in English from the original Italian. (8/28p)

EVERYBODY LOVES KANYE: Presenting the video for The Chainsmokers f/sirenXX's "Kanye" (Dim Mak/Republic), which premiered on VEVO today. Taking off in the ladies' restroom where the massively viral "#Selfie" (200m+ views) left off, the clip follows a young maid who dresses up in the "#selfie" girls' expensive duds before being whisked away for an enchanted evening. To anyone who genuinely thinks they can be like Kanye, please refer to a tweet from his 2012 Twitter account (below) for his thoughts on the matter. (8/28p)

TOP 10 TRACKS: The potent combo of an exploding Taylor Swift debut and a still accelerating Meghan Trainor smash (which passed 1.1m on an18% increase) appeared to lift all the other hit records in the sales week ending Sunday. Indeed, every record on the big board was in plus territory apart from Magic!’s former chart-topper “Rude,” which is beginning to cool off (-15%) after 20 weeks on the chart. Apart from the three-headed monster “Bang Bang,” Ariana Grande’s name was absent from the singles Top 10 for the first time in recent memory, but that’s only because she cashed in her Complete My Album chips with Monday’s release of the soon-to-be #1 My Everything. In all, it was a helluva week for the grrrl-powered Republic, between Taylor, Nicki, Ariana and the three amigas, as well as for Epic (Meghan), Def Jam (Iggy) and Capitol (Sam).

1. Taylor Swift, “Shake It Off” – 544k
2. Meghan Trainor, “All About That Bass” – 283k
3. Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj, “Bang Bang” – 159k
4. Iggy Azalea f/Rita Ora, “Black Widow” – 142k
5. Sam Smith, “Stay With Me” – 122k
6. Nicki Minaj, “Anaconda” – 116k
7. Clean Bandit f/Jess Glynne, “Rather Be” – 104k
8. Charli XCX, “Boom Clap” – 97k
9. Sia, “Chandelier” – 96k
10. Magic!, “Rude” – 88k

There were some strong upward moves in the second 10 as well: “Cool Kids” from WB’s Echosmith (#19-13, 71k, +10%) and “Don’t Tell ’Em” from Def Jam’s Jeremih f/YG (#23-16, 66k, +20%). And look out for Island’s Tove Lo, whose “Habits (Stay High)” is getting higher (#26-22, 55k, +12%). (8/28a)

THE OTHER MAGIC! MAN: “When Nasri and I started this group, we had a strong feeling we were on to something special, but the immense success of ‘Rude’ has far exceeded our expectations,” Magic! guitarist and “Rude” co-writer Mark Pellizzer acknowledged on the occasion of inking a worldwide pub deal with UMPG. SVP Creative Affairs Donna Caseine hailed “Pelli’s musicality and prolific musicianship, [which] make him a unique writer as he is able to span across multiple genres,” while prexy Evan Lamberg noted that manager Charles Chavez “has one of the best set of ears in our business and really knows how to identify special global hits.” Before joining Magic!, Pellizzer co-wrote and produced Chris Brown’s hit “Don’t Judge Me,” Shakira’s single “Cut Me Deep,” and her 2014 FIFA World Cup theme “This Is Our Time.” He’s also worked with Usher, Trey Songz and JoJo. Pictured in the pubco’s smoke-filled and invitingly aromatic offices are Donna and Pelli. (8/28a)

A LABOR OF "LOVE": Presenting the studio video for the sultry "I Can't Give You Anything But Love" from the upcoming Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga album, Cheek to Cheek, out 9/23 on Columbia/Interscope. The full-length, currently on pre-sale at iTunes, features standards from Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Billy Strayhorn and other greats. Rumors of Tony Bennett wearing a tuxedo made of meat could not be confirmed. (8/28a)

GARY GETS WET: Gather 'round, y'all, 'cause Nashville just got wetter than a loose hog in a muddy field durin' the rainy season. And by that we mean, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge just went country. Seen above is Sony Music Nashville CEO Gary O being drenched by Voice finalists  and Arista Nashville duo The Swon Brothers, his challengers. Overton then challenged UMG Nashville's Mike Dungan and Robert Deaton, the CMA Awards' executive producer. Sounds like a rootin' tootin' good time to us. Watch his vid here(8/27p)

WALK ON ICE: Republic EVP Charlie Walk is the latest entrant in the ALS ice-bucket challenge. Charlie's door-man, the handsome fellow dumping the ice water, must've forgot to tell him the right color to wear to a wet t-shirt contest. Regardless, he has nominated pop starlet Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, buzz-band Sheppard and Republic publicist Joe Carozza. Let the games begin!  (8/27p)
