Although the number does fall within the studio's predictions, it happens to mark only the sixth most successful three-day cume in the franchise's history. The only other debut in the Top 5—Alice Through the Looking Glass—landed at #2 with $28m, bringing Disney right up to about $4b earned at the global box office so far this year.
