SPOTIFY'S LYRICAL APPROACH TO LOVER

Prior to the release of Lover on Friday, Taylor Swift will reveal lyrics to songs from the new album every day in Spotify’s Love, Taylor playlist via an audio message.

Taylor dropped an eight-second recitation of "Lover's" lyrics Tuesday morning, and each day will reveal a new lyric in the playlist. Additionally, the playlist contains a video message from Taylor, a handwritten note using Spotify’s Canvas creative tool, the four pre-released Lover tracks—"Lover," "The Archer," "You Need to Calm Down," "ME!"—and 11 of Taylor’s favorite love songs.

Come Friday, the Love, Taylor playlist will house all 18 tracks of Lover, messages from Taylor, stories behind the songs and other goodies.
