IRVING IS THE LEADER
OF THE PAC

What do Irving Azoff, Don Henley, Dave Matthews, Anderson .Paak, Maren Morris, John Silva and Coran Capshaw have in common?

They’re going to Washington to advocate for the rights of artists.

The Music Artists Coalition is a brand-new lobbying org to represent the interests performers and songwriters in our nation’s capital. In addition to the aforementioned luminaries, the outfit includes Azoff MSG Co-Prez Susan Genco, attorney Jordan Bromley and PR player Kristen Foster. Look for them to hit Congress about consent decrees, royalty rates and tech legislation, among other pertinent areas.

“Artists don’t really have a seat at any table,” Azoff told Bloomberg. Many insiders expect the org’s star power and industry muscle to be an effective counter to the yank exerted by the big tech firms, notably Google, which is very much in MAC’s crosshairs.
