Jimmy Harnen has been upped to President/CEO of Scott Borchetta's BMLG Records as part of his new deal with the company. Harnen, previously BMLG EVP and BMLGR President, has been closely involved with Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Brett Young, Danielle Bradbery and Riley Green, among other Big Machine acts. During his watch the label has earned 31 #1 hits, including two of the five most downloaded country songs of all time (FGL's "Cruise" and The Band Perry's "If I Die Young").

"I'm so proud of what Jimmy has helped to build" at BMLG, Borchetta volunteered. "He and I have been breaking acts and making hits together for the better part of the last 20 years. I'm thrilled that he's committed to continue to lead BMLG Records, as he's been an integral part of the overall success." Borchetta then excused himself as he had to help Scooter Braun pick out a new particle accelerator.
