COMPARE & CONTRAST

Outside of unicorn-smash "Old Town Road," let's take a look at the trajectory of three new tracks from superstars Taylor Swift, Drake and Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello.

Radio: Taylor's "Calm Down" most recently jumped #39-19 on the published Mediabase Pop chart, moving up 3118 spins. There, Shawn & Camila are preparing to chart at #41. Meanwhile, Drake doesn't seem to be getting Pop love, as he's not in the Top 150 there. He DID just debut on the Rhythm chart though... at #32. Swift was #1 Most Added at radio last week (all formats), scoring 205 adds out of the gate. This week's add board should finalize in a couple hours but now (at 61.6% completion) Shawn & Camila are #2 Most Added.

Sales: With four days of activity, Shawn & Camila's "Señorita" is approaching 40k in sales and currently #2 on iTunes—it held at #1 throughout its opening weekend. Taylor notched just under 80k in "Calm Down's" first week, despite a good portion of additional sales being attributed to "instant-grat" deliveries via the album pre-order for Lover. Taylor's latest track is currently #5 on iTunes while Drake's "Money in the Grave" is just outside the top 30.

Streams: Nearly out-streaming monster "Old Town Road" in a shortened week due to a tardy release, Drake makes up ground in streaming as opposed to sales. "Money in the Grave" notched 31m in its first week, while Taylor's "Calm Down" earned 20m streams. Shawn & Camila have posted 13m streams WTD, with a first-week projection of 21m in its trajectory. "Señorita" has also been locked at #1 on the Spotify Global chart since its release, while battling with Drake for #1 at Spotify's daily U.S. chart. Drake edged out Swift to top Spotify's Weekly U.S. chart, with nearly 12m streams in six days. "Money in the Grave" has held #1 at Apple Music since its debut, as Shawn & Camila's collab hovers in the top 10.

YouTube: Swift debuted at #1 on the US videos chart, while Shawn & Camila's “Señorita” earned 29.3m views in its first 24 hours, setting a new debut record for both artists. The song currently holds the top slot on the US Trending Videos chart, while Shawn Mendes is #80 on the Global Top Artists chart. Shawn & Camila's video has notched 85m views compared to Taylor's 56m views for "Calm Down."

Drake's "Money in the Grave" leads with an RTD of 255k. Taylor's "Calm Down" has an RTD of 235k so far (RTD not counting video streams).
