Spotify's global curation team has gathered a list of contenders for 2019's song of the summer. Many tracks already have momentum going for them and are seeing strong engagement from key playlists like Today's Top Hits, RapCaviar and Viva Latino!.

Spanning a variety of genres, the Songs of the Summer playlist factored in streaming numbers, current trajectory and future forecasting in their predictions for song of the summer 2019.
