COMMISSION, BIG NOISE PAIR UP

Anthony Martini and Doug Neumann’s Commission Records have struck a partnership with label/publisher/event producer Big Noise.

The deal includes an equity purchase as well as significant funding for marketing, promotion, staff expansion and infrastructure. No numbers were announced but word on the street is that the deal is a fat one.

Martini will develop business opportunities for both partners, integrating the company run by CEO Nick Gross and President Jon Cohen into a collective culture.

“The spirit of Commission has always been about betting on yourself, so it was a natural fit to align with guys like Nick and Jon who truly have skin in the game” Martini said. “These artists trust us with their livelihood. I want to go into battle with a team who understands the importance of that because they've been there."

Commission’s roster includes MadeinTYO, Lil Dicky and Derez De'Shon; among Big Noise’s properties are its new 5,000 square foot recording studio in Hollywood, Big Noise Live and Rogue E-Sports. Gross has also produced music for artists such as Ariana Grande and Wiz Khalifa.
