Word out of Encino is that after 2 1/2 years, Pete Fisher has exited his role as CEO of the Academy of Country Music. A search is said to be underway for his successor. ACM Awards Executive Producer RAC Clark is stepping in as Interim Executive Director.
"I've greatly enjoyed working with the Academy staff, Officers and Boards, and I look forward to continuing to support the good work of the ACM and ACM Lifting Lives," reads a quote from Fisher, who joined ACM in 2017. "Proud of what we have accomplished, I look forward to what the future holds."
Stay tuned for further developments.
