P!nk enters with the second-biggest debut, as her Hurts 2B Human (RCA) appears at #2, moving 109k. And ScHoolboy Q’s Crash Talk (TDE/Intescope)—another new release—rounds out the Top 3 with 78k.
Other noteworthy debuts include Rob Thomas’ Chip Tooth Smile (Atlantic) and AJR’s Neotheater (S-Curve). Those come in at #9 and #11 with around 30k and 29k, respectively.
As for what’s streeting this week, Columbia’s Vampire Weekend just dropped Father of the Bride—their fourth full-length, and first in six years.
Meanwhile, UMG leads the marketshare pack with 50%. SME has 26% at #2, and WMG follows with 24%.
