U.K. MIDWEEKS: BILLIE BACK ON TOP

Billie Eilish has returned to #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums midweeks, while new entries from Loyle Carner (pictured), The Rolling Stones and Jade Bird look set to shake up the Top 10. Over on singles, Lil Nas X is on course for a second week at the top.

Eilish has dethroned last week’s #1, BTS, as When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (Polydor) is heading toward a third non-consecutive week at the top.

British rapper Carner is on course to claim his first Top 10 with his second album, No Waving But Drowning (Virgin EMI), starting at #2. The Stones’s hits collection Honk (Universal) takes the third highest new entry today at #5.

Bird’s self-titled debut (Glassnote) is currently at #7, and Fat White Family are at #10 with third album Serf’s Up! (Domino).

Further down, two blasts from the past: Showaddywaddy’s Gold (Demon) is #12 and Bananarama’s self-released In Stereo is #16. Finally, Beyoncé’s live album Homecoming (Sony) rockets 63 places with to #25.

On the Official Singles midweeks, Lil Nas X remains on top with “Old Town Road” (Columbia) while “Piece of Your Heart” (Polydor) by Meduza f/Goodboys moves up to #2.

Jonas Blue is on track for his eighth Top 40 single with “What I Like About You” f/Theresa Rex (Virgin EMI), which climbs to #22 today, and George Ezra's “Pretty Shining People” (Columbia) is on the up ,too, at #24.

Lil Dicky is eyeing a return to the Top 40 with “Earth” (BMG) starting at #27, and Digga D’s “No Diet” (Mixtape Madness) starts at #33.
