MOTOWN'S BIG NIGHT

Motown 60: A Grammy Celebration pulled in 6.9m viewers Sunday night to lead CBS to an Easter night victory in primetime.

The Ken Ehrlich/Recording Academy production won the 8pm-10pm time slot, besting ABC’s American Idol by half a million viewers.

Motown 60 included performances from Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross and a host of contemporary stars.

It’s highly likely that the viewership numbers will rise as DVR viewing is counted in later ratings reports.
