STONES POSTPONE TOUR DUE TO JAGGER HEART SURGERY (UPDATE)

Now we know what’s troubling Mick Jagger. The 75-year-old Rolling Stones frontman will undergo heart-valve-replacement surgery this week in New York, according to an item in The Drudge Report cheekily headlined “Jagger Heart of Stone.” The issue reportedly came to light during a routine medical scan.

Drudge’s sources say Jagger is expected to make a full recovery and should be back on stage by summer. The procedure has a 95% success rate, and Sir Mick is in “extraordinary physical condition.”

The Stones postponed their upcoming North American tour following the diagnosis.

"Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment," read a 3/30 statement from the band, which can be seen in full below, along with comments from fellow band members.
