CAPITOL GOES LIVE WITH LIONEL

Capitol Records will release Lionel Richie’s Live From Las Vegas on 8/23, the first release from the singer on the label. He starts a national tour on 5/28.

Richie’s Hello Tour opens at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, Texas, and will include stops at Radio City Music Hall on 7/17 in New York City and the Hollywood Bowl on 8/5. All tickets purchased online will include a CD copy of Live from Las Vegas.

Pre-sale ticketing starts Tuesday; most dates go on sale Friday.

Live from Las Vegas was recorded at Zappos Theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino and features solo hits such as “All Night Long” and “Say You, Say Me,” as well as hits from his days in The Commodores.
