Shaggy has joined Sting on the management roster of Martin Kierszenbaum's Cherrytree Music Company. Shaggy and Sting's tandem reggae set is up for a Grammy. Cherrytree's roster also includes Warner Music Nashville's barnburning Last Bandoleros, Curb's O.B.B. and the unsigned Alexander Stewart. The latter, a 19-year-old Canadian popster who's notched nearly 1m YouTube followers and big playlist action, has already had overtures from a handful of majors. Will others soon follow?
