REPUBLIC TO RELEASE GRAMMY ALBUM

Imagine creating an album where you don’t know what artists will be on it or which songs will made the final cut, but you do have a release date. Welcome to the announcement of the 2019 Grammy Nominees album.

Republic Records and The Recording Academy’s Grammy Recordings will release 2019 Grammy Nominees on 1/25. It’s the 25th year in the series of albums that help fund the Grammy Museum and MusiCares.

"This body of work recognizes a moment in time and music, and more importantly supports artist-related charitable causes,” Republic Chairman Monte Lipman said. “I’m anticipating this year's lineup will be as strong as any year in recent memory."

Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy, noted "We are thrilled to have music industry veteran Leslie Lewis continue in her role as our longtime producer."

He also announced there would be a contest to “one lucky winner a chance to attend the 61st Grammy Awards.” New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has already instructed his staff to start filling out entry forms.
